Animate images using AI

TokkingHeads is a multimedia application from Rosebud AI that takes any still image and turns them into a moving and talking avatar. This app uses artificial intelligence to animate a portrait instantly. It has a library of voice recordings and videos that you can apply to your image. You can also type in anything you want the image to say. TokkingHeads is free to use. However, if you want to remove the watermark or generate high-resolution output, you will need to subscribe to the paid service.

How do you animate your pictures?

Using TokkingHeads is easy. Like any photo editor, the first thing you need to do is choose the image you want to animate. The app has a wide selection of pre-selected images organized into categories. You can select among politicians, celebrities, and even avatars and cartoon characters. Of course, you can also upload pictures from your camera roll. Moreover, it even allows you to animate old photos like MyHeritage's Deep Nostalgia feature. Once done, you can choose to add a background and accessories to your picture.

The second step is to choose what type of animation you want to apply. As noted, you can choose between text, voice, or video. The app has a large library of default voice recordings you can choose from, including songs, greetings, and speeches. The video library, meanwhile, is a selection of popular celebrity expressions. You can also upload your voice and video recordings if you want a more personalized animation. Additionally, the app allows you to type in any text that you want your image to say.

The last step is to click the generation button to animate your image. This process takes a while. The output may appear less sophisticated, unlike those from other similar apps, such as HourOne. This is because the latter uses a nearly full-scan of a subject's head and a set of words spoken by a person to generate a realistic-sounding voice. TokkingHeads only uses still images and generates motion and sound from scratch or port in existing audio from an unrelated source.

Pictures made more fun

AI-face animators are a trend among multimedia apps nowadays, and TokkingHeads is just one of them. The app makes the process simpler by allowing users to animate their images in three easy steps. It also has a huge library of pre-selected pictures and generated video and voice recordings, which you can use to create an animation. The result's not that sophisticated and sometimes gives a significant uncanny valley effect, but considering how easy the process is, it is still impressive.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
